The company approached us with some of their existing projects. They wanted to create an HR platform that would be oriented not towards employees, but towards companies. They had already acquired the main competitor in the market and wanted to build a completely new web app. The idea is that a job seeker registers and provides all the necessary information about themselves. Only companies have the ability to search for candidates in the overall list, and their representatives can find the right candidate and contact them through the platform's features.

The main target group was clearly identified, so we began by clarifying the project's key problems and needs. I then analyzed the main competitors and compared their strengths and weaknesses. With the customer’s input, we created User Flows for Developers and Companies to understand the steps they would take in the process of job/candidate searching.

CHALLENGES
✦ The current onboarding process for the purchased project is too irrelevant, as it does not provide sufficient information and requires too much time to complete.
✦ The web platform’s responsiveness isn’t good; it is not adapt to different screen dimensions.
✦ Too many people don’t understand that here, companies are the ones searching for candidates, which is the key difference from other platforms.

✦ I completely rebuilt the onboarding process, focusing on the mandatory points according to the client's requirements, ensuring it was not too lengthy but still informative.
✦ I developed a grid system that will assist developers in adapting it for different screens and help them understand how I envision it.
✦ Clearer information on the landing page and tooltips during the first use of the project will help customers understand the advantages of the platform.

SOLUTIONS
Together with our Senior UX Specialist, we created two types of Customer Journey Maps: one for the company journey and another for the developer journey. These greatly assist us in our work, as we refer to them in our structure and consider possible pain points when making solutions.

SOLUTIONS
In my opinion, the second most important screen after the dashboard is the candidate search screen for companies. Therefore, it has been given a lot of attention; in its basic configuration, the search includes the most essential 6 filters, but new ones can be easily added to expand the criteria if needed, up to a total of 14 filters. The information about candidates displays the most relevant details based on my UX research.
